    • 🎪 Interactive Exhibitions & Live Demonstrations: Experience history in action and step into the past with live demos and hands-on activities like apple schnitzing.
    • 🍔 Delicious Eats: Enjoy a diverse array of mouth-watering food and beverage favourites in our Brews and Bites section powered by Rouge River Brewing Company.
    • 🎤 Live Entertainment: Experience a vibrant lineup of live entertainment throughout the duration of the event, presented by School of Rock Markham.
    • 🚂 Family Fun: Hop on our scenic Don Valley North Trolley trackless train, presented by Don Valley North Toyota. Bounce around in the Inflatable and Games Area, get your face painted, and play mini-golf. More experiences will be teased as we get closer to the event date.     • 📸 Memory Makers: Stroll through various destinations on our grounds and capture your memories with us.
    • 🏛️ Immersive Historical Experiences: Witness the blacksmith shop, print shop, and textile studio come to life as historical artisans demonstrate their skills.
    • 🍏 Cider Making & Pottery Workshops: Learn the art and science of cider making with live demonstrations, and participate in pottery workshops guided by a skilled potter.
    • 🖼️ Hands-On Exhibition Spaces: Explore engaging exhibitions like "A Picture of Markham - The Art of Pat Wheeler," the reimagined "From the Ground-up" archaeology exhibit, and can't-miss STEAM-based exhibits "Markham Moves" and "Markham Community Makers."

Directions, Parking and General Info

 

Markham Museum is located just steps from the heart of historic Main Street Markham. Whether you’re a local or coming from afar, finding us is a breeze! Get directions here and start your AppleFest adventure the moment you arrive.

Parking at the Museum is limited, so we encourage taking advantage of local public transportation or carpooling.

Please note, smoking is strictly prohibited on Museum grounds.

For the safety of your pets and our resident coyotes, dogs and other pets are not allowed on-site.

Important: Guided tours will not be available during the event.

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets can be purchased online starting August 16th

Prices are as follows:

    • Children 0 to 3 years old – Free
    • *Children 4 to 11 years old - $10
    • *Students 12 to 18 years old - $12
    • *Adults 19 to 59 years old - $14
    • Older Adults 60+ - $12

How do I get my tickets?

Your tickets will be delivered to your email from "Markham Museum - Zeffy contact@zeffy.com." Inside the email, you’ll find a button to download your e-tickets as a PDF, with each ticket featuring a separate page and QR code.

Please do not scan the QR code yourself prior to the event. Print your tickets or save them to your phone, and show them to our staff at the entrance.

 

How can I pay for my tickets?

You can purchase tickets online using your credit or debit card via Stripe.

 

I'm a Markham Museum member, do I have to buy tickets?

If you’re a Markham Museum member, admission to AppleFest is included in your membership -- no need to pre-purchase tickets! Just show your membership to our staff on the event day to gain entry.

 

I have an Access2 card, does my caregiver need to buy a ticket?

You’ll need a ticket, but your caregiver can show their Access2 card to enter for free.

 

I'm a member or employee of another organization with reciprocal benefits (CANOO, ASTC, AO, OMA, CMA, etc.), do I need to buy a ticket?

Yes, you’ll need to buy a ticket. Free admission only applies to general admission on non-event days.


What if it rains?

Rain or shine, the show will go on!
