Summer Activities— Now Available!

Geocaching 

A mix between trivia and a scavenger hunt using latitude and longitude coordinates, geocaching is the perfect activity for explorers! We have two trails: Pathfinder, perfect for children under 8, and Trailblazer, for 8+. Geocacheing is an outdoor activity. Remember to dress for the weather! 

Mini Golf 

Play 9 holes of Mini Golf with obstacles inspired by historic Markham landmarks! Mini golf is not recommended for children under the age of 3. Parental supervision is encouraged.

Snowshoeing

Explore our 25-acre site by snowshoe! Museum staff will help you get fitted with a pair of our snowshoes, and you can explore the museum grounds looking for wildlife tracks and enjoying winter weather. Snowshoeing is a weather dependent activity and availability may vary. Visitors must be wearing winter boots and cold-weather clothing to participate in snowshoeing.
