You can apply for Markham's Assisted Recycling Collection Service in one of three ways:

2. In Person (Temporarily Unavailable)

  • Visit the Contact Centre counter at the Markham Civic Centre (Unionville Entrance)

3. By Phone

  • Call us at 905.477.5530. We are open Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We will mail you the application form.
  • Once you fill in the form, bring, mail or e-mail your finished application to:

City Staff will visit you to confirm your information once your application is approved. At that time, you will be required to sign a liability waiver and a new location to collect your green bin, blue box, and clear bag garbage on your  scheduled collection day will be agreed upon.
