Many Faces of Markham
Many Faces of Markham is an annual initiative the Race Relations Committee hosts. It is in recognition of the United Nations' International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, which occurs every year on March 21.
Many Faces of Markham was initially launched in 1999 and continues to support the City's longstanding commitment to diversity, inclusion, equity, accessibility, and social cohesion.
As part of the City-wide campaign, youth across Markham submit artwork reflective of that year's theme. This year's Many Faces of Markham contest theme is Your Markham: Allyship in the Fight Against Racism.
