This program provides recent graduates with invaluable and practical work experience that helps fulfil requirements for professional designations in these sectors. The internship program also nurtures talent development, supports succession planning, and strengthens our workforce for the future.

New Hire Enrolment Package
Welcome to the City of Markham! Please download, print, and complete the forms below, if applicable. You will need to bring hard copies of the completed forms with you to the “New Hire Enrolment Session” on your first day of employment. A time will be scheduled by your Supervisor with the People Services Department located on the 3rd floor of the Markham Civic Centre, 101 Town Centre Boulevard. You can park across from the Flato Markham Theatre (across from a set of flags). Attendance in this session is mandatory.
Note: New Hire Enrolment Sessions are held every Monday. If Monday is a holiday, the session is held on the next business day.
