Surrounded by the city's iconic architecture and vibrant atmosphere, the rink is a favorite destination for families, friends, and solo skaters alike. Of course, admission is free!
One of the key highlights of the rink is the convenience it offers. Not to worry if you don't have your own skates as rentals will be available on-site. Visit the skate rentals site for information on opening times and costs.
The Markham Civic Centre Outdoor Ice Rink is open now until Sunday, March 16, 2025 (weather permitting).

Are you Ready for the Winter?
From November 15 to April 15 each year, daytime parking is only allowed on the odd-numbered side of residential streets. Residents are advised to observe the posted street sign restrictions as well.
Parking on both sides of all City streets is prohibited during snow clearing operations. This restriction applies to all residents, including those with overnight parking exemptions and parking permits. Snow clearing will begin once there is an accumulation of 7.5cm (5 in.) and continue for up to 24 hours.
Once snow clearing operations are complete, on-street parking may resume in accordance with city parking regulations. Vehicles parked on a city street during snow clearing operations may be ticketed and/or towed. The fine for parked vehicles interfering with snow removal is $150, and vehicles may also be towed.
Our streets must be clear to accommodate traffic flow, emergency response vehicles, and road maintenance vehicles, including snow plows. Review additional information on Markham’s parking and anti-idling by-laws.
