Celebrate Canada Day with Us!
Markham, are you ready to celebrate? Join the City of Markham’s annual Canada Day celebrations, presented by Tim Hortons, at Markham Centre in Downtown Markham (Birchmount Rd/Enterprise Blvd) on July 1 from 3 to 11 PM.
Headlining this year’s event is JUNO award-nominated singer and actress Fefe Dobson. In addition to live performances that are sure to have everyone on their feet, this year’s event will feature lots of free and fun activities for the entire family to enjoy.
This year we’ll have two kids zones. In Zone 1, be ready to explore our Sensory Activity Zone, and a variety of inflatables including a big slide, climbing wall, axe throwing, and more!
Zone 2 will have airbrush tattoos, a colouring area, and our friends from Hands on Exotics will be back to get attendees up close and personal with some friendly animals. Crowd favourites Doo Doo the Clown and Aaron Matthews are also back to keep everyone entertained, along with Cody and JJ from CoComelon.
Markham’s signature spectacular fireworks display begins at 10 PM to cap off a fun-filled day of activities and celebrations.
There will be ample, free parking available onsite, and the event location, located at Birchmount Rd./Enterprise Blvd. is easily accessible by transit.
