Create an Online Portal Profile/Account
Manage Your Profile
You can now create an online Portal profile/account with City of Markham that will provide you access to the City's On-line services that require authentication.
In order to best mange your Portal profile and leverage the Single Sign On features provided, please review the information below.
How to Create an Account
Click on the "Log in" button.
Click on the "Sign up" link and create your account.
Verify your email address and enter a One-Time Verification Code provided in the email.
Set up a SMS Multi-Fact Authentication (MFA) by entering your Mobile Phone Number and enter the verification code that sent by SMS text to your mobile phone number.
Log in anytime with your email address and password to use your account.
How to Sign In
To sign in to the portal, click the "Log In".
Enter your Email Address and Password.
What to Do if You Forget Your Password
If you have forgotten your password, select "Log In". Then, click on the "Forgot your password?" link. Once on the "Forgot your password?" screen, enter your Email Address and we will send a message to reset your password.
How to Change Profile Information
Sign in to the portal and select the "My Account" from the Avatar Icon.
Select "My Profile" on the screen. You will be taken to a form where you can update your user profile information.
How to Update Your Mobile Phone Number
Sign in to the portal and select the "MFA Settings" from the from the dropdown menu. You will be taken to a form where you can change your mobile phone number which is part of your multi-fact authentication (MFA) and is used to authenticate you.
Your phone number must be verified in order for you to be able to use it during the login process.
