Create an Online Portal Profile/Account
Manage Your Profile
You can now create an online Portal profile/account with City of Markham that will provide you access to the City's On-line services that require authentication.
In order to best mange your Portal profile and leverage the Single Sign On features provided, please review the information below.
How to Create an Account
Click on the "Log in" button.
Click on "Sign up" link and create your account.
Verify your email address and a One-Time Verification Code.
Set up SMS Multi-Fact Authentication (MFA) by entering your Mobile Phone Number.
How to Sign In
To sign in to the portal, enter your Email Address and Password and click "Log In" button at the top-right corner.
How to Reset your Password or Unlock your User Profile
If you have forgotten your password, please click on the "Forgot your password?" link located on the main Sign In screen. Once on the access screen, select the corresponding option and follow the steps on the screen to proceed.
How to Change Profile Information
Sign in to the portal and click the "My Account" link under the icon at the top-right corner. Select "My Profile" on the screen. You will be taken to a form where you can update your user profile information.
How to Update Your Mobile Phone Number
Sign in to the portal and select the "MFA Settings" link from the dropdown menu. You will be taken to a form where you can change your mobile phone number which is part of your multi-fact authentication (MFA) and is used to authenticate you.
Your phone number must be verified in order for you to be able to use it during the login process.
