All games are played at Armadale Community Centre – 2401 Denison Street.
Markham Sports Leagues is a great for sports enthusiasts of all levels. This is your ticket to friendly competition, community connections, and skill development. Whether you're a seasoned pro or a rookie, unite with like-minded individuals and experience the joy of sports. Don't miss out — and let the games begin!

- Basketball (Court 5s)
Basketball Rules and Regulations [PDF]
- People in play: 5 (Minimum and maximum.)
- Officiated: Yes (York Regional Association of Basketball Officials.)
- Court size: full court.
- Length: 40-minute games.
- Coed Volleyball (Court 6s)
Volleyball Rules and Regulations [PDF]
- People in play: 6 total (minimum 2 women.)
- Officiated: Yes (City of Markham staff.)
- Statistics are recorded.
- Team members are required to wear a shirt with a number on the back. Jerseys are not provided.
- Badminton
Badminton Rules and Regulations [PDF]
- Teams: Doubles Format (2 players per team. Mixed: women and men.)
- Officiated: Self-officiated matches, with City of Markham staff oversight.
- Best 2 out of 3 games; played to 21 points (capped at 30).
- Choose between feather or plastic shuttle. Return shuttle to staff after each match.
- Cornhole
Cornhole Rules and Regulations [PDF]
- Teams: Doubles (2 players per team.)
- Officiated: Games are self-officiated, with City of Markham staff, overseeing and recording scores.
- Objective: First team to 21 points, wins; game ends immediately, if 21 is reached during a pitch.
- Scoring: 1 point for landing on the board; 3 points for cornhole. Points are based on the difference in scores.
