Markham Pan Am Centre

Opened in November 2014, the Markham Pan Am Centre is a multi-purpose sport facility for training, competition, and sport event hosting. Constructed for the 2015 Pan American and ParaPan American Games, the facility has been built to world-class standards and features.

Meeting rooms
Swimming pool features:
- 10 lane, 50 metres tank pool, 2.5 metres deep throughout
- Moveable floor and configurable bulkheads that allows set up for various sport and multi-use functions
- Pool temperature at 26 degrees celsius (79 degrees Fahrenheit)
Gymnasium featuring:
- Over 36,000 square foot (3,344 square metre) of floor space
- Court markings that allow for 15 badminton, 7 volleyball, and 3 basketball courts.
- With 41 foot (12.5 metre) ceilings, the facility meets International competition standards for volleyball, rhythmic gymnastics and other sports.
- A warm-up hall adjacent to the main gymnasium features an additional 3 badminton courts, 1 volleyball and 1 basketball court
